In addition to this, we will also proactively share special tips, tricks and hacks from each OEM to enable gadget users keep their devices running at 100% at all times.

SuperGeeks is fully committed to revolutionising the technology repairs/support industry in Nigeria through customer engagement and quality customer service delivery; OEM Week is yet another bold step by us towards this direction. Hot off the heels of the launch of the hugely successful Gadget Swap, OEM Week is a campaign developed to celebrate the work of selected OEMs by encouraging customers to purchase original products from certified resellers; take better care of their devices and work with qualified technicians should gadget issues arise.

‘7 Days of Apple’ will run until 21st November; shortly after this, the spotlight will switch to another OEM. For the duration of the campaign, customers will be treated to various OEM-specific goodies ranging from quick-fixes and authentic accessories to gadget makeovers and money-off promos; all redeemable at the brand new SuperGeeks Customer Experience Center located at 1 Victoria Arobieke Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria

#OEMWeek What it’s really about!

Today SuperGeeks, presses play on a brand new campaign #OEMWeek, hot off the heels of the launch of the already hugely successful Gadget Swap. OEM Week is yet another way that SuperGeeks is working to revolutionise the tech support industry through customer engagement and quality customer service.

What exactly is an OEM anyway?

For those who don’t know, OEM is an abbreviation for ‘Original Equipment Manufacturers’. In short, they are the ones that make all the nifty little parts that go into your favourite gadgets. In telecoms world, they are Apple, Samsung, Huwaei, Microsoft, IBM, Nokia, Blackberry, HTC, etc.

Why is #OEMWeek so important?

OEM Week is important for a few reasons:

1. We’ve identified a gap in the market for quality repairs/support for certain OEMs and their device categories. No more ‘Oga, the part for this your phone no dey’ or ‘Madam, you for like drop am come back next week’. With SuperGeeks, we work tirelessly to ensure we have access to premium parts, sourced directly from the OEMs directly in most cases.

2. Some OEMs just deserve to be celebrated for all the work they’ve put into the industry in excellent service and product delivery.

3. You, our customer, and your side-kicks, deserve special treatment…some TLC! No more waiting hours, days or weeks for your basic device repairs; with OEM Week, we have set ourselves the challenge of fixing these basic gadget issues in an hour or less. According to Sam Uduma (CEO, SuperGeeks): “Despite the fact that SuperGeeks is an OEM-agnostic service platform, the series of OEM Weeks we have planned are designed to cater to the needs of customers who patronise specific brands; while demonstrating our innate ability and versatility across the various OEM brands and their distinct device categories”.

How does it work?

Over the next few weeks, SuperGeeks will dedicate 7 consecutive days to each OEM giving customers the opportunity to fix their devices while they wait – in an hour or less; get cool gadget makeovers and enjoy access to a wide range of tech accessories at discounted prices. In addition to this, we will proactively share special tips, tricks and hacks from each OEM to enable gadget users keep their devices running at 100% at all times. All our customers have to do is sit back and get set for their gadget manufacturer to come under the spotlight and take advantage of all the offers and promos that follow.

This Friday, we will introduce our first OEM #GetExcited! Customers who patronise the selected brand can be sure to be treated to 7 days  of awesome tips, tricks, hacks and special promos specific to the said OEM. It’s our little way of giving back, but also a giant stride in re-enforcing our vision of revolutionising the tech support/gadget repairs service industry in Nigeria.
